CauseThe environmental variable for Temp has a space in it.
  1. Take a backup on existing test server with AM 7.1. SP2. Launch Operations Console. Navigate to maintenance menu. Create a backup.
  2. This will help us restoring to blank database.
  3. Change the value for environmental variable Temp to C:\temp
  4. Restart Windows 2003 machine.
  5. Verify that Security Console and Operations Console are working. Close both of them.
  6. Copy the backup.dmp and the secrets file to C:\backup
  7. Launch command line.
  8. Restore the database ( admin guide, page 220-226)
Setting up Environmental Variable
To restore the database type below command from utils directory:
rsautil manage-backups -a import -D -f D:\backup\backup.DMP
