IssueCannot install RSA ACE/Agent on Microsoft Windows Server 2003
Can't run 16-bit windows program
Error: "Cannot find file .... Check to ensure the path and filename are correct and that all required libraries are available"
Resolution

The agent.exe program cannot extract the RSA ACE/Agent software. You'll see an error message that reads "Cannot find file .... Check to ensure the path and filename are correct and that all required libraries are available" in a window with the title "Can't run 16-bit windows program".

A possible solution is to extract the agent software manually and then install it, as outlined below:

- Open the AceAgent_56_W2kXP.zip file with WinZip

- You'll see a file called "agent.exe" in there

- Extract this file to some temporary location (for example, c:\temp)

- Close WinZip and navigate with windows explorer to the location where you extracted the file agent.exe

- Open the agent.exe file with WinZip. You can do that by right-clicking on "agent.exe" and then select "WinZip" --> "Extract to here".

- After the extract process completed, you should see a directory called "es". Change into that directory.

- Then change in the directory "disk1" and run "Setup.exe" from there

You should now be able to successfully install the agent.
