IssueLog filtering does not stop the recording of events created by RSA ACE/Server Administration API
Log filtering has been set up to stop certain messages from being logged
In this example the ACE/Server Administrator has set up log filtering to prevent the message "sdadmin started" from being recorded
When Administrator logs in using the ACE Administration API, the message is still logged in the ACE/Server Database
CauseThe ACE Administration API accesses the ACE/Server Database through the apidemon process. This bypasses the Log filter settings made from the ACE/Server Administration GUI.
ResolutionDevelopers using the ACE Administration API are able to limit logging of events by calling the Sd_SetLoggingOff() function.

NOTE: This solution will not prevent the logging of the following events:

sdadmin started             - created by Sd_ApiInit() and Sd_ApiInitSingle()
set logging off                - created by Sd_SetLoggingOff()
sdadmin stopped             - created by Sd_ApiEnd()
