IssueReduce size of the sdserv.bi file and stop its accelerated growth.
The sdserv.bi file grows at a fast rate.
CauseThis problem is caused by records being left in a locked condition due to an incomplete transaction (usually caused by a user breaking out of New PIN or Next Tokencode Mode). The growth will continue until the next successful transaction takes place.
ResolutionTo reduce the size of the sdserv.bi file, try one of the following procedures:

*  Run sdcmpress (after stopping both the aceserver and sdconnect processes).
*  If there is insufficient disk space, run sddump, sdnewdb, and sdload.
*  If neither of the above works, execute the following:
  /<top level>/ace/rdbms/bin/proutil  /<top level>/ace/data/sdserv.db  -C  truncate bi

Note: This is only a temporary measure to alleviate the symptoms of bi file growth, in addition make sure you are at the latest patch level of the version you are running as the problem may have been resolved.  If you continue to see this problem after installing the latest patch and using one of the procedures above to shrink the bi file, contact Technical Support for assistance.
