IssueHow to properly start the ACE/Server after an abnormal shutdown such as a power outage or system corrupting event.
After an abnormal termination of ACE/Server services due to a sudden loss of power, the normal startup routine of ACE/Server fails with message "ACE/Server is already running"
ResolutionIf the ACE/Server does not start properly after an abnormal shutdown due to a sudden power outage do the following:
        cd /var/ace/prog
        ./aceserver stop
./sdconnect shutdown (wait for prompt to reappear, this could take a few moments)
        ps -aef |grep ace
        kill -9 "pid#"
        ps -aef |grep mprosrv
        kill -9 "pid#"
        ps -aef |grep mprshut
        kill -9 "pid#"
        cd /var/ace/data
        rm *.pid
        rm *.pgrp
        rm *.lk
        cd /var/ace/prog
        ./sdconnect start
        ./aceserver start
