Resolution

The only user who can log in to the appliance is "emcsrv".  However, most of the files that you will want to download can not be accessed by that user.  What you need to do is move the files to a location that the emcsrv user can access as well as change the file permissions so that user can access the files themselves.  To do this:

  1. Establish an ssh session as the user emcsrv
  2. Enter the command:  sudo su rsaadmin
  3. Enter the emcsrv password at the password prompt
  4. cd /tmp
  5. cp <FILE> .
    • Where <FILE> is the path and file that you want to copy off the system
    • Example:  cp /usr/local/RSASecurity/RSAAuthenticationManager/install/logs/config/setupReplicaSiteTrace.log .
  6. chmod 777 <FILE>

You will now be able to download these files with your SFTP software using the emcsrv account to connect with.
