RSA ClearTrust Agent 4.6 for Microsoft IIS
IssueError: "Host name is not in FQDN format" in RSA ClearTrust Agent 4.6 log
When accessing a ClearTrust-protected resource, the agent log file shows the following:

Nov 08, 2004 03:20:53 PM EST - [792] - <Debug> - Host name is not in FQDN format

and the user cannot authenticate into the ClearTrust-protected resource
CauseThe contents of the Web browser's location bar specifies the URL of the ClearTrust-protected resource using the machine's hostname is short form, rather than utilizing the fully-qualified domain name (FQDN), e.g. http://machine_hostname/<path to resource>/<resource_name>
ResolutionTo correct this issue, ensure that when pointing the Web browser to the ClearTrust-protected resource, specify the URL using the FQDN, e.g. http://machine_hostname.domain.com/<path to resource>/<resource_name>.
