IssueError: "Critical error ct_initialize_runtime_api_from_pool_config - Error creating Runtime API Connection" in RSA ClearTrust
Upon starting RSA ClearTrust Agent 4.0 for Sun ONE Web Server 6.0, the following critical error is logged at level critical:

critical error ct_initialize_runtime_api_from_pool_config - Error creating Runtime API Connection
CauseThis error means that the runtime API client (the agent) could not communicate with the server. There can be a number of reasons for this:

1. The SSL settings are not properly configured

2. The ClearTrust servers not running

3. The ports on which the authservers listen on (5615 and 5616) are not open in the firewall
ResolutionTo correct this issue, open the firewall ports where the RSA ClearTrust Authorization Server (AServer) listens to.
