|Issue||Error: SMTP: [XrcBADSOURCE] Unable to open source file. ScDoesServerExist(): [XrcSOCKETFAILURE: unable to complete socket operation]|
When a user clicks the Submit button after filling in a new certificate request form, the following error message appears:
SMTP: [XrcBADSOURCE] Unable to open source file. ScDoesServerExist(): [XrcSOCKETFAILURE: unable to complete socket operation]
The corresponding jurisdiction is configured to send emails when new certificate requests are made.
|Cause||During the KCA upgrade, the correct SMTP host name was not entered and the default value "mail" was used as the SMTP host name; "mail" was not a correct SMTP host name|
|Resolution||To correct this issue, update the SMTP host name to the correct one in the following two RCM/KCA configuration files:|
WebServer/conf/server.conf or WebServer/conf/rsakeon.conf
Then, restart all RCM/KCA services.
|Workaround||The current KCA installation was recently upgraded from an older version of KCA|
