SETSYNC fatal error (Unable to read in license.) 1
CauseSystem environment variables may need to be set in the UNIX environment
The setsync program cannot locate the license file to decrypt the server database
Resolution

For example:

 

root@am61p # ./admenv

The following environment variables must be set in order to use the

administration toolkit.  They must be set for each individual toolkit

user or set globally for all users.

USR_ACE=/sandbox/am61/ace/prog

VAR_ACE=/sandbox/am61/ace/data

DLC=/sandbox/am61/ace/rdbms

PROPATH=/sandbox/am61/ace/prog/proapi/adbapi.pl:/sandbox/am61/ace/prog/proapi/sdproapi.pl:/sandbox/am61/ace/prog/protrig:/sandbox/am61/ace/prog

LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/sandbox/am61/ace/prog

NOTE: as a UNIX administrator you can either create your own shell script to set up these environment variables or use them on the command line with an EXPORT command.

 

e.g.

root@am61p # USR_ACE=/sandbox/am61/ace/prog

root@am61p # export USR_ACE

root@am61p # echo $USR_ACE

/sandbox/am61/ace/prog

root@am61p #
