IssueHow to turn on or off session caching with the Keon Certificate Authority
ResolutionOn Windows NT:

- To turn off session caching, comment out the "SSL_SessionDir" directives in the httpd.conf file for ALL virtualhosts by placing a # at the beginning of the lines

- To turn on session caching, remove the comment (leading #) on the "SSL_SessionDir" directives in the httpd.conf file

NOTE: As with any changes to the httpd.conf, you must restart the web server before changes take effect

On Sun Solaris:

- To turn off session caching:

  - Comment out the "SSLSessionServer" and "SSLSessionServerDir" directives in the httpd.conf file for ALL virtualhosts by placing a # at the beginning of the lines

  - Edit the /SentryCA/WebServer/conf/start script and comment out the line to start up sessiond

- To turn on session caching:

  - Remove the comment (leading #) on the "SSLSessionServer" and "SSLSessionServerDir" directives in the httpd.conf

  - Edit the /SentryCA/WebServer/conf/start script and remove the comment on the line to start up sessiond

NOTE: As with any change to the httpd.conf, you must restart the web server before the changes take effect
