|Issue||How to calculate MD5 of a PEM formatted certificate|
MD5 for a certificate calculated using tools, such as OpenSSL, does not match with the MD5 hash that RSA Certificate Manager (RSACM) generates for the same certificate and uses as the DN of the corresponding xuda_certificate object.
|Resolution||Download and use the tool FindingMD5.zip (based on a sample API program "CertificateInformation" from the RSACM 6.6 API sample library) to find out MD5 hash exactly how RSACM would calculate for a PEM formatted certificate. Click here to download the FindingMD5 utility from RSA SecurCare Online. See the included Readme.txt file for details on how to run the tool.|
