Issue
  • This article provides information on how to protect OWA calendar and appointments options within IIS.
  • Users are unable to change there network password within Outlook Web App (OWA) 2010
  • When a user tries to change their password within Outlook Web App 2010, a second Windows network authentication window appears. Once the user types in their network credentials, an HTTP 400 error appears.
ResolutionEnabling SecurID protection in the OWA virtual directory does not protect the calendar operations. To protect OWA calendar events and appointments, the administrator has to enable SecurID protection in the /ecp virtual directory under the Default Web Site.
