Applies Tosdopts.rec
RSA Authentication Agent 6.0 for Microsoft Windows
IssueImproper use of sdopts.rec causing error "Initialization of RSA ACE/Agent libraries failed" in RSA Authentication Agent
Error: "Initialization of RSA ACE/Agent libraries failed" in RSA Authentication Agent
Error: "Initialization failed ? configuration error" in RSA Authentication Agent
CauseAVOID is not correctly used in the sdopts.rec file:

1. AVOID=ip_address_of_primary_server

or

2. AVOID=x.x.x.x and USESERVER=y.y.y.y appear in the sdopts.rec

These 2 statements are mutually exclusive
ResolutionThere are 2 options to correct this issue:

1. Use AVOID for IP address of replica servers only

2. Use only either AVOID or USESERVER statements, but not both

If RSA ACE/Server is running on UNIX, transfer the file sdconf.rec in binary mode to the Windows machine.
NotesThis error can also be caused by a missing or bad sdconf.rec file
