IssueHow to enable tracing on Extensible Authentication Protocol (EAP) authentication on RAS servers using RSA SecurID
ResolutionEnabling tracing for troubleshooting purposes:

Enable tracing on Extensible Authentication Protocol (EAP) after applying new sdeap.dll. If the RRAS/IAS services crash, the trace information can be used for further investigation. To turn on EAP tracing, follow these steps:

1. Navigate to Start Menu --> Run

2. Run the 'regedt32.exe' program

3. Go to /HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Tracing/SDEAP/

4. Set EnableFileTracing to 1 - a trace file will be created at %windir%/tracing/sdeap.log
