IssueHow to suppress "Cancel" window in RSA SecurID
CauseIf a RSA SecurID authentication page is displayed and the user chooses to cancel and switch to an alternative web site (or perhaps select an unprotected page), then a smaller pop-up window appears to confirm the user has cancelled the authentication
ResolutionThe cancelation window is displayed by the following piece of code:

    <BODY language="JavaScript" onload="initPage()" onunload="check_cancel()">

This says that if the user ever cancels the form, the JavaScript check_cancel() method is called. All that needs be done is to change the line to read:

    <BODY language="JavaScript" onload="initPage()" >

This needs to be changed in all the pages in the Templates directory you are using. Remember also that if you are using any custom NLS pages, these need to be altered as well.

Since the release of ACE/Agent 5.2 for Web,  a second confirmed method is available:

For any of the authentication template pages which are used (e.g. userid.htm, passcode.htm, useridandpasscode.htm etc), locate this line at the top of the file:

    var need_cancel = true;

Then just change this line to read:

    var need_cancel = false;

NOTE:  This variable is also present in earlier versions of the agent, but the change has only been tested on ACE/Agent 5.2 for Web
