RSA ACE/Server 4.1 (no longer supported as of 2-1-2004)
Microsoft Windows NT 4.0
|Issue||How to set up RADIUS Accounting|
|Resolution||RADIUS Accounting is always on in ACE/Server for Windows versions prior to 5.0. It is only necessary to ensure that the Services files include an entry for RADIUS Accounting. If you are using ACE/Server for Windows version 5.0 and later, RADIUS Accounting can be enabled by using the RADIUS configuration tool in the ace/prog directory.|
It is necessary to have the RADIUS Client (Cisco Router, Shiva LANRover, etc.) configured for RADIUS Accounting. They must point their RADIUS Accounting to the ACE/Server's RADIUS Server IP address and to use the same udp port 1646.
In UNIX, edit the /etc/services file and add "radacct 1646/udp". For more information, please see the solution titled RADIUS Accounting not working correctly with ACE/Server 5.0.
In Windows NT, edit the Winnt\system32\drivers\etc\services file and add "radacct 1646/udp". For more information, please see the solution titled ACE/Server 5.0 Radius Accounting not working correctly.
