IssueInstallation of RSA Authentication Manager 7.1 SP4 full kit fails on Windows 2008 R2
"The installer has detected a previous version of RSA Authentication Manager RADIUS server installed on this machine. See details below". The details window will be blank. The installation fails as soon as it is started. There will be no log files created.
1. Launch command line.
2. Navigate to C:\Software\auth_mgr\Windows-x86_64\resources\
3. clean.cmd
[SC] OpenService FAILED 1060:
The specified service does not exist as an installed service. This error is indicating that a service is missing and not related to installation failure.
CauseCustomer has placed the RSA software in a folder where the folder name starts with an ! (exclamation point). Example: C:\!Software
ResolutionRemove the exclamation point from the folder name and the installation will be successful.  See RSA Authentication Manager 7.1 installation error occurs on Windows 2003 and 2008
