IP Address change procedure was being done, but server's IP address was changed before changing the IP address in Replica Management.
IP Address change procedure was done with the server's NIC disconnected, connected to the wrong network, or with improper DNS
Error: Cannot determine if this server is Primary or Replica. (19)
Cannot open Replica Management
|Cause||The IP address must be changed in Replica Management BEFORE changing the IP address in the operating System|
The sdconf.rec file is not in the data directory, or is inaccessible
The IP address must be changed back to the old one before trying to re-do the IP address change.
Disconnect the server from the network. Connect it into an isolated hub or switch to make sure the NIC is activated. Make sure RSA Services are not set to AutoStart.
Change the server's IP address back to the original IP address. Reboot.
Go into Configuration Management, make sure the correct old name and IP address are entered for This Server and Primary Server
Go into Replica Management, make sure the Primary's old name and IP address are visible. Close Replica Management.
Connect the server back to the Production network. If DNS is static, make sure DNS (forward and reverse PTR records) are correct for the NEW entries.
Perform the IP address change as described in How to change the primary server's hostname or IP address in RSA ACE/Server 5.1/5.2 and RSA Authentication Manager 6.0/6.1 on Windows.
