The version of Steel-Belted RADIUS which was qualified with RSA ACE/Server 6.0 was version 4.7.1 and there was no requirement for radius.key or radius.cer files during the implementation of these two products.

Steel-Belted RADIUS 5.x and RSA RADIUS 6.1 require the radius.cer and radius.key files to interoperate with RSA Authentication Manager 6.1 software. Customers on earlier versions of RSA Authentication Manager or ACE/Server (i.e. version 5.2 or version 6.0) are required to schedule an upgrade to RSA Authentication Manager 6.1 if they wish to use Steel-Belted RADIUS 5.x or RSA RADIUS 6.1 software.

** RSA Authentication Manager 6.1 software is availalbe for download from RSA SecurCare Online - Home > Browse by Product Family - RSA SecurID > Version Upgrade tab > Go button or enter the product license ID > Software Only radio button > Download Software button - which redirects the session to Download Central **

Please refer to Juniper Steel-Belted RADIUS 5.x documentation for implementations with RSA SecurID. RSA does provide a very basic implementation guide at URL http://www.rsa.com/rsasecured/guides/imp_pdfs/Juniper_SBRv6.10_AuthMan7.1.pdf which may provide assistance.

The RADIUS key and certificate files (radius.key & radius.cer) for RSA RADIUS 6.1 are generated during the installation of RSA Authentication Manager 6.1 software and reside in the <AM61_instdir>\data directory. Please refer to the

RSA RADIUS Server 6.1 Administrator?s Guide - Installing the RSA RADIUS Server on page 19 for information on required files.
