IssueUnable to start Validation Manager
When starting RSA Validation Manager, the GUI Server fails to start:

======> Starting GUI Server
Using CATALINA_BASE: /opt/apps/rsa/VM3.0/GUIServer
Using CATALINA_HOME: /opt/apps/rsa/VM3.0/GUIServer
Using CATALINA_TMPDIR: /opt/apps/rsa/VM3.0/GUIServer/temp
Using JAVA_HOME: /opt/apps/rsa/ValidationManager/jre
Error: Startup of GUI Server failed!
Reviewing the catalina.out file of the Tomcat server, the following message appeared:

Apache Tomcat/4.1.27
Failed to initialize web application context due to integrity check: java.lang.SecurityException: Failed PKCS12 integrity checking
Shutting down the server...
The certificates used by RSA Validation Manager are valid
CauseThe passphrase for the certificate keys (in this case using an nCipher HSM) could not be read in from shared memory, hence the keys could not be read.
ResolutionReboot the Solaris machine to clear the shared memory
