IssueMoving C:\RSA, (matched content) to another drive
Need more space on C:\RSA
Resolution

As an example:

1) Redirecting the C:\RSA folder to D:\RSA Folder

2) Stop the Enterprise Manager Service, Enterprise Coordinator service and the Network Controller Service.

3) Drag and drop the RSA folder (C:\RSA) to the new location (D:\RSA)

4) If DLP 9.5 and up skip ahead to 'For versions 9.5 and up'.

If DLP 8.x thru 9.0 continue with step below.

Update the configuration file tem-service.conf (using Notepad)to reflect the change as described below

The file is located in the EM server ~\Program Files\RSA\Enterprise Manager\bin\tem-service.conf

The line that needs to change is highlighted in red below.

Modify this line to reflect the new drive location.

SAMPLE:

wrapper.java.command=../../jre/bin/java

wrapper.java.classpath.1=../lib/win32/*.jar

wrapper.java.classpath.2=../lib/*.jar

wrapper.java.classpath.3=../start.jar

wrapper.java.library.path.1=../lib/win32/

wrapper.java.additional.1=-Djetty.home=../

wrapper.java.additional.2=-Djetty.logs=../logs

wrapper.java.additional.3=-Dtem.home=C:\RSA

wrapper.java.additional.4=-XX:MaxPermSize=256m

wrapper.java.initmemory=256

wrapper.java.maxmemory=1024

wrapper.java.mainclass=org.mortbay.jetty.win32service.JettyServiceWrapperListener

wrapper.app.parameter.1=../etc/tem-jetty.xml

wrapper.console.format=PM

wrapper.console.loglevel=INFO

wrapper.logfile=../logs/jetty-service.log

wrapper.logfile.format=LPTM

wrapper.logfile.loglevel=ERROR

wrapper.logfile.maxsize=25m

wrapper.logfile.maxfiles=7

wrapper.syslog.loglevel=NONE

wrapper.filter.trigger.1=java.lang.OutOfMemoryError

wrapper.filter.action.1=RESTART

5) If DLP 9.0, 9.5 or above, skip to the appropriate section below, otherwise continue to next step.

6) Restart the EM, EC & Network Controller services

For version 9.0 if the RSA HOME directory is changed, the Certificate path will change as well and must be updated to reflect this change.

For systems running DLP 9.0, perform the following additional steps:

1) Edit ~\Program Files\RSA\Enterprise Manager\webapps\root\WEB-INF\classes\application.properties
Look for tem.home and change the value to the new location

2) Modify the sql table SC_TLS_CERTIFICATE_STORE in the DLP database by updating the STORE_LOCATION values to match the new paths.

Use a simple query to make the change

Update SC_TLS_CERTIFICATE_STORE

Set  Store_Location = ?NEW_VALUE?

Where store_location = ?OLD_VALUE?

In the above query, replace NEW_VALUE with the new path and OLD_VALUE with the old path.

Example:

Update SC_TLS_CERTIFICATE_STORE

Set  Store_Location = ?D:\RSA\Certs\ca\discovery.p12?

Where store_location = ?C:\RSA\Certs\ca\discovery.p12?

3) Restart the Enterprise Manager, Enterprise Coordinator and Network Controller services after performing this step

For version 9.5 and up.
I
f the RSA HOME directory is changed, the Certificate paths will change as well and must be updated to reflect this change.
The
RSAEnterpriseManager.exe file properties must also be changed.

For systems running DLP 9.5 and up, perform the following additional steps:

1) Edit ~\Program Files\RSA\Enterprise Manager\webapps\root\WEB-INF\classes\application.properties
Look for tem.home and change the value to the new location

It can be set to a drive letter or unc path, enter unc path as \\hostname\path

2) Modify the sql table SC_TLS_CERTIFICATE_STORE in the DLP database by updating the STORE_LOCATION values to match the new paths.

Use a simple query to make the change

Update SC_TLS_CERTIFICATE_STORE

Set  Store_Location = ?NEW_VALUE?

Where store_location = ?OLD_VALUE?

In the above query, replace NEW_VALUE with the new path and OLD_VALUE with the old path.

Examples:

Update SC_TLS_CERTIFICATE_STORE

Set  Store_Location = ?D:\RSA\Certs\ca\em-ca.p12?

Where store_location = ?C:\RSA\Certs\ca\em-ca.p12?

Update SC_TLS_CERTIFICATE_STORE

Set  Store_Location = ?D:\RSA\Certs\ca\em-client.p12?

Where store_location = ?C:\RSA\Certs\ca\em-client.p12?

Update SC_TLS_CERTIFICATE_STORE

Set  Store_Location = ?D:\RSA\Certs\ca\discovery.p12?

Where store_location = ?C:\RSA\Certs\ca\discovery.p12?

Note this can also be a unc path such as \\hostname\RSA\Certs\ca\discovery.p12

3) Update the tem.home location in ~\Program Files\RSA\Enterprise Manager\RSAEnterpriseManager.exe as follows:

  a) Double click on the file
RSAEnterpriseManager.exe

  b) Under Java tab you will see JAVA Options

  c) Specify the new TEM.HOME location there

For example:

-Dtem.home=\\hostname\RSA

4) Restart the Enterprise Manager, Enterprise Coordinator and Network Controller services after performing this step
