IssueError: "Can't connect to ACE/Server"
CauseName resolution was not configured properly
ResolutionTo correct this issue, check if your name resolution is working using the nslookup and resolveip commands such as:

# nslookup "name_of_the_ACE/Server"
# resolveip "hostname_of_the_agent"
If you're getting errors related to name resolution;

Also, check your nsswitch.conf configuration to see which name resolution method is preferred. Make sure that both the ACE/Server and the host that the Agent is running on have host record entries in the DNS. If "files" is the preferred method, make sure that the two hosts have entries in /etc/hosts file. Then run /opt/pam/bin/acestatus again.
