|Issue||Unable to open .PDF or .XLS file in Web browser when using Servlet Protection|
.PDF or .XLS files not opened automatically in Web browser when Agent is enabled
|Cause||This problem is due to the use of "no-cache" settings in place on the WebLogic Agent. These are forced due to security reasons, but can also impact how ActiveX opens such files.|
|Resolution||To correct this issue, contact RSA Security Customer Support and request RSA ClearTrust Agent hot fix 220.127.116.11, or request the latest fix level (which is cumulative, and contains fixes from previous fix levels). Hot fix 18.104.22.168 allows the following parameter to be placed in the appagent.conf file:|
This parameter enables the user to specify which types of requests do not need the "no-cache" resource header added to the session.
