IssueClient socket to Auth Server closes unexpectedly in RSA ClearTrust 5.0.1 Runtime Java API
With Runtime API connections configured such that Auth Server connections never time out (timeout is set to 0), after some period of client side inactivity, the response time for a Runtime API request is like that of an initial request, as if a new socket must be established. This is more noticeable when Anonymous SSL is employed.
ResolutionThis issue has been resolved in a hot fix to RSA ClearTrust 5.0.1. Contact RSA Security Customer Support and request hot fix 5.0.1.124 to obtain the fix, or request the latest fix level (which is cumulative, and contains fixes from previous fix levels). Follow the instructions in the provided Readme file for proper installation.
