|Issue||Concurrent Administrative Users in RSA ClearTrust|
The Release Notes for RSA ClearTrust 5.5.3 located at https://knowledge.rsasecurity.com/notes/scnote175.asp state that the entitlement server supports more concurrent admin users:
"Administrative Performance Improvements: Significant performance improvements have been made to the Administrative API and Entitlements Manager (GUI), and Entitlements server. Customers will experience faster response time, the ability to significantly support more concurrent administrative users, and the capability to support hundreds of thousands of users in group entitlements."
|Resolution||Many factors within a configuration environment affect the entitlement server throughput, and it depends extensively and progressively on the administrative user load. Around 30 concurrent administrative user threads per entitlement server instance is an approximate maximum sustainable administrative user load for operations that involve adding users, adding users to groups, retrieving users from groups, removing users, and removing users from groups. Adding an additional entitlement server instance reduces response times through all transactions.|
