|Applies To||RSA Authentication Manager 6.0.x|
RSA ACE/Server 5.2.x
RSA ACE/Server 5.1.x (no longer supported as of 7-14-2006)
|Issue||Assign realm task list to an administrator|
RSA ACE/Server Administrator cannot see or assign the realm task list
RSA ACE/Server administrator cannot perform certain administrative tasks
There appear to be RSA ACE/Server administrators with the realm task list assigned
|Resolution||Start the database administration tool using either host or remote mode.|
Go to Users > List Users
Click on "Select" in the upper right corner to choose the task list, choosing the Realm Task List and run the report.
Locate an administrator with the Realm Task List assigned.
Now login to database administration remote mode as that user with the Realm Task List assigned.
You may need to change or set a "User Password" for this user to allow the login.
NOTE: All current versions of the ACE/Server require that there be at least one un-scoped (realm) administrator in the database at all times.
NOTE: To resolve the issue you must find one of the un-scoped administrators and use their account to assign the realm task list to the current administrator. Once the desired administrator has been assigned the realm task list they can modify the old un-scoped administrator as needed.
