IssueEmail functionality in Deployment Manager is not working with Exchange Server 2007
How to configure Deployment Manager with Exchange Server 2007
CauseBy default, anonymous access is not allowed in Exchange server 2007.
Resolution

RSA Deployment Manager 1.3.1 uses anonymous access to send Emails.
To allow anonymous access to the exchange server 2007, Please follow the below procedure:

  1. On Exchange server, open Exchange Management Shell.
  2. Execute Set-ReceiveConnector -Identity "Default <ServerName>" -PermissionGroups "AnonymousUsers".
  3. Restart the Exchange services.
  4. Verify the RSA Deployment Manager Email configuration, Configure System --> System Setup --> Email
  5. Verify the Mail Server Connection like Hostname,  SMTP Port, Username and password.
  6. Enable Notify requesters by Email if request is approved.
  7. Enable Notify requesters by Email if request is rejected.
  8. Enable Notify Approvers by e-mail of new requests in their inbox.    
  9. Enable Notify Distributors by e-mail of new requests in their inbox.
  10. Enable Notify distribution house by e-mail of new requests.
  11. Click on Save.
  12. Restart the RSA Web Services.
