IssueRSA ClearTrust Agent with Basic Auth prompts for Auth for excluded files
CauseThis problem occurs only when ClearTrust and IIS are configured to support the setting of HTTP server variables. If IIS is configured for "IIS Basic Auth" and "Anonymous access", and the ClearTrust webagent.conf file setting cleartrust.agent.iis.preproc_Auth_enabled set to TRUE, the browser will prompt the user for IIS Basic Auth when accessing excluded files, or resources that contain excluded files.
ResolutionThis issue is resolved in a hot fix for RSA ClearTrust Agent 4.5 for IIS. Please contact RSA Security Customer Support and request RSA ClearTrust Agent 4.5 for IIS hot fix 4.5.0.09, or request the latest fix level for RSA ClearTrust Agent 4.5 for IIS (which is cumulative, and contains fixes from previous fix levels).
