Issue | Realm name does not show correctly on non-form-based NT authentication window Authentication works fine, but the Realm name shown on the non-form-based NT authentication popup window is incorrect; DNS host name is shown instead of the realm name defined in parameter "cleartrust.agent.realm" (default realm name is CT) in the webagent.conf file While Microsoft Internet Explorer shows incorrect realm name, Netscape Web browser shows the realm name correctly as set in the webagent.conf file |
Cause | The "Anonymous access" and "Basic authentication" options are both checked/turned-on ("Integrated Windows authentication" is not checked) in the Internet Services Manager -> Default Web Site Properties -> Directory Security -> Authentication Methods |
Resolution | Make sure that only the "Anonymous access" box is checked/turned-on ("Basic authentication" and "Integrated Windows authentication" are not checked) in the Internet Services Manager -> Default Web Site Properties -> Directory Security -> Authentication Methods. |
