CauseThe RSA ClearTrust 5.5 Administrator?s Guide, page 47 explains how CGI and ASP pages are protected just like any other page defied as a URL. In this explanation, an example is shown as follows:

    /budget/today.cgi/*

In fact, this was a typing error and will not deliver the expected result.  In fact this example will only work if today.cgi was a directory.
ResolutionIt is more appropriate to use either of the following:

    /budget/*
   
    /budget/today.cgi

As with the creation of any ALLOW/DENY rule in the RSA ClearTrust Entitlements Server, any rule should be tested using the Test Authorization option to ensure it delivers the desired result before using in a production environment.
