IssueHow to start all RSA ClearTrust Servers in order using Windows NT Services
Resolution

To Start the Servers in this order:

1. Dispatcher/Key Server
2. Entitlement Server
3. Authorization Server

, create a Service Dependency that causes the RSA ClearTrust Servers to wait for the servers to startup. Use Windows regedt32.exe to create the following registry keys (regedit.exe does not work as it cannot create the REG_MULTI_SZ data type):

Under Entitlement Server:

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\RSAeserver]

create a new value of type REG_MULTI_SZ with value name "DependOnService" and a value of "RSAaserver" for the Authorization Server and under:

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\RSAeserver]

create a new value of type REG_MULTI_SZ with value name "DependOnService" and a value of "RSAdispatch" for the Log Server and under:

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\RSAeserver]

create a new value of type REG_MULTI_SZ with value name "DependOnService" and a value of "RSAdispatch".

Reboot the computer for changes to take effect. After this change, you should be able to see in the Services Dependency tab for RSAeserver, RSAaserver and RSAlserver with a dependant service.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Always make a backup of the Windows registry before changing/adding any thing in the registry
