IssueError: "Error: "C:\RSA BSAFE SSL-C\2.1\Win32\library\include\r_rand.h(33) : error C2955: 'list' : use of class template requires template argument list  ..\STLport\stlport\stl/_list.h(573) : see declaration of 'list'"" while compiling RSA BSAFE SSL-C application with Microsoft Visual C++
ResolutionMicrosoft Visual C++ is confused about the use of the keyword "list" used in r_rand.h. Because this use of the word "list" in r_rand.h is done inside a function declaration, the name can be safely changed to workaround this compilation problem. This is done by modifying the declaration of the R_rand_lib_cleanup() function declaration. For example:

1. In the original header file, the function declaration appears as follows:

    int R_rand_lib_cleanup(void *lib_ctx, void *list);

2. Changing the declaration as follows alters the identifier, but not the meaning of the code or the declaration:

    int R_rand_lib_cleanup(void *lib_ctx, void *list1);
