WorkaroundAdding and installing a Replica
NotesThe following is a description of the format of the sdrepnodes.txt file format.
<machine name>        <replica Number>         <sequence Number>        <service name>        <port>
Date:        Wed Oct 24 10:11:22 2001        RepCount:        1

<machine name>: fully qualified name of the replica being installed
<replica number>: order this appears in the list of replicas discounting the primary. So the first replica in the list (when using sdrepmgmt list) is 1.
<sequence Number>: sdrepmgmt list will show this.
<service name>: securidprop_0<replica Number>
<port>: if they took default configuration it would be 5506 for replica one 5507 for 2 5508 for 3 etc.

The 2nd line should appear exactly as above except the date should be as close to the time of replica package generation as possible. The Repcount should remain at one since he is only trying to install a single replica.

NOTE: Every field should be TAB-separated. Each line should end with a new line. This is absolutely essential - if any other white space besides tabs and newlines exists in this file it will not work.

You should generate a brand new package insert you false sdrepnodes.txt file in to the ../data/replica_package/license directory. Then bring the whole package directory structure over to the replica and do the install.

Sample contents of sdrepnodes.txt file below:

hostname.bogus.com        1        12                5506
Date:        Thu Oct  4 17:44:24 2001        RepCount:        1
