|Applies To||RSA Authentication Manager 6.0.x|
Microsoft Windows Server 2003 SP1
All UNIX platforms
|Issue||Error: "Attribute Vendor-Specific already exists in profile" when trying to add more than one Vendor-Specific Attribute (VSA)|
|Cause||Either the securidmapfile has been modified (by default it allows multiple VSA's) or it is corrupt|
|Resolution||To correct this issue, edit the "path"\ace\data\securidmapfile and find the line:|
Vendor-Specific 1 0
Change the ending 0 to 1 (the 1 means that multiples are allowed). Then reload the dictionary and mapfile:
loadradb xyzzy ..\data\dictionary ..\data\securidmapfile
Then try to edit the profile. It is not necessary to start and stop the server.
If this doesn't resolve the issue, contact RSA Security Customer Support and request a fresh copy of the securidmapfile, as the file may be corrupt.
