Resolution

Go into the SQL Server Management Studio with administrative

credentials and access the Database Engine.

Go to Security->Credentials and open the Properties for the

##xp_cmdshell_proxy_account##.

Verify that the Identity: rsa_audit is prefixed with the servername. eg.

MOM2005\rsa_audit. If it isn't then press the button with three dots to open

up Select User or Group. Enter rsa_audit in the box and press Check Names.

This should prefix the rsa_audit with the server name. Press the OK button.

Then verify that the password is entered correctly.

This should correct the problem.
