Issue
In FIM log: com.rsa.fim.exception.util.FIMIllegalArgumentException:
The supplied RelayState value is too long
CauseAlthough RelayState is not even being set in the SAML 1.1 attributes, FIM 4.1 stops processing the SAML query with the following exception:

 com.rsa.fim.exception.util.FIMIllegalArgumentException: The supplied RelayState value is too long
    at com.rsa.fim.common.ProfileResponse.setRelayState(ProfileResponse.java:209)
    at com.rsa.fim.profile.sso.SAML11SSOService.processAssertingPartyMode(SAML11SSOService.java:389)
    at com.rsa.fim.profile.sso.SSOProfileBean.processAssertingPartyMode(SSOProfileBean.java:277)
ResolutionThis problem has been resolved in hotfix 4.1.08 for FIM 4.1. Please contact RSA Customer Support and request this hotfix, or the latest cumulative hotfix for your platform.
