Installation of patch stalls at 100%
The SP1_423832_7.1.1-423832 is a patch to update third party components (Oracle 10g database and WebLogic 10.0) and was released in September 2008 to cover the daylight savings changes in 2008 for areas such as New Zealand.
Patches released before November 2008 attempted to automatically restart RSA Authentication Manager 7.1 services once the patch was installed, this was found to be problematic and the automatic start has been removed form later patches. If you are installing this patch then it is possible for the symptom to occur.
The fault is cosmetic and as long as the status says that it has reached 100% then the patch has been installed.
Do not press CANCEL. Simply use the standard operating system interface to reboot the system, when the system restarts all RSA services should start normally.
