Rational Purify memory analysis reports small memory issue in RCM API
The RSA Certificate Manager API exhibits a memory issue of less than 0.5kb/cert during prolonged continuous execution during certificate issuance
CauseThis memory issue is caused by a 3rd-party library outside of the RCM API codebase
ResolutionThe memory issue is exhibited only during sustained and continuous certificate issuance via the RSA Certificate Manager API, for example for a time period exceeding 8 hours. This is not a generally supported best practice for the API product. The best mitigation for this memory issue is to restart the API application in a manner that makes sense for your environment and requirements.
