IssueHow to configure ClearTrust URI retention with Tomcat application server
URI retention does not work properly when using mod_rewrite and RewriteRules to "redirect" incoming "/cleartrust" requests to the directory containing the ClearTrust login JSP's on the Tomcat server
ResolutionTo properly configure the ACM to communicate with Tomcat for URI retention, the Apache mod_jk module must be utilized. The mod_jk module (when loaded via the ACM's http.conf) is a connector that filters specific URLs, and will redirect this traffic to the Tomcat server.

General information, installation, and implementation instructions can be found on Apache's Web site at http://jakarta.apache.org/tomcat/tomcat-4.1-doc/jk2/.
