IssueRSA ACE/Server processes start with the exception of the RSA ACE/Server RADIUS daemon
Error: "General error in broker server. 997." appears in Windows event log
Error on RADD service start. 997
CauseIf in Configuration Management RSA Radius service is enabled, and in Windows Serviced the RSA Radius Demon is manually Disabled this error message will occur on RSA Authentication manager start. (ace/server start).
ResolutionThis problem has been reported to RSA Security Customer Support, but the problem has not been reproduced, hence the exact cause is not known. The most probable cause of the RSA ACE/Server RADIUS daemon failing to start is a name resolution issue. Please refer to the solution regarding How to verify hostname information of the Primary or Replica RSA ACE/Server to check your full computer name of your system.

Also, ensure that when the "Automatic RSA ACE/Server startup" is selected within the RSA ACE/Server icon (from Start Menu --> Control Panel) on the Primary, the following services should be set to Automatic:

RSA ACE/Server administration daemon;
RSA ACE/Server authentication engine;
RSA ACE/Server broker;
RSA ACE/Server job executor daemon;
RSA ACE/Server log maintenance daemon;
RSA ACE/Server Quick Admin daemon;
RSA ACE/Server RADIUS daemon.

Also see the solution regarding How to change the primary server's hostname or IP address in RSA ACE/Server 5.1/5.2 and RSA Authentication Manager 6.0/6.1 on Windows.
