IssueHow to use special characters in RSA Keon certificate requests
ResolutionThe following characters are usable with both Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer (please ignore the quotation marks):

 "-"  "/"  "("  ")"

We do not recommend using "<", ">" or "&" because they all have some equivalent in the context of HTML.

Commas (,) are not allowed because of LDAP.

Double quotes (") will stop the request from being submitted for MSIE due to lack of support in the xenroll executable.

Microsoft Internet Explorer (MSIE) also does not allow the use of:

"@"  "#"  "$"  "%"  "^"  "&"  "*"  "["  "]"  "{"  "}"

Their certificate enrollment dll blanks the field that they appear in due to lack of special character handling support in xenroll executable provided by Microsoft.
Netscape, however, handles these characters without trouble.
