Unable to upgrade RSA Key Manager Server
|Resolution||As of Noverber 1st 2007, RSA Key Manager Server can only be upgraded to a higher revision number, meaning that Key Manager Server 2.0.x can not be upgraded to Key Manager Server 2.1.x.|
If you are running Key Manager Server 2.0, 2.0.1 or 2.0.2 you can upgrade to 2.0.3 only, an so on.
If you are running Key Manager Server 2.1, you can upgrade to 2.1.1 only.
To upgrade to a higher revision number, you need to redeploy Key Manager Server web application (WAR file).
If you are using Apache Tomcat, do the following:
1. Stop Tomcat
2. From TOMCAT_INSTALLATION_FOLDER/webapps, move KMS.war and KMS/ folder to a backup folder, like C:\KMS_BACKUP
3. Copy the new KMS.war in TOMCAT_INSTALLATION_FOLDER/webapps
4. Start Tomcat and wait 30 seconds for KMS to be redeployed by Tomcat.
5. KMS is now accessible. Don't forget to enter the Master Password if you need to.
