IssueRSA Authentication Agent 6.1.1 - Reserve password prompt before offline days.
SecurID challenged users are getting the Reserve Password prompt while disconnected when they should be authenticating with offline days. They have offline days and offline days update appropriately.
CauseThe da_svc is either not starting or the agent is not establishing the port to the da_svc prior to the logon.

You can force the da_svc to start regardless of window's services dependencies. You can also set a number of retries for the agent attempted connections to the da_svc. See details below:

RSA_FORCE_DA_SVC_START only needs to be set, any value it has is ignored. If this variable is set, the DA_SVC is forced to start immediately, as opposed to its scheduled start with the other Windows services. Note: This fix only needs to be enabled in the event that the DA_SVC does not start in time for the GINA to connect to it. Symptoms of this would include the RSANotificationIcon not appearing in the system tray and the failure of offline authentication. Functionality for both fixes have been retained, but RSA_FORCE_DA_SVC_START is in all likelihood more useful, which forces the service to start as soon as possible to ensure that it is available when needed. If this is still not sufficient, a number of retries can be specified with RSA_NUM_DA_SVC_RETRIES so that the GINA does not fail immediately after an unsuccessful connection.
