IssueHow does the CT_ORIG_URI parameter used for URL retention change from RSA ClearTrust Agent version 3.0.x to 4.x?
Can RSA ClearTrust Agents 3.0.x and 4.x interoperate with URL retention enabled?
CT_ORIG_URI and CT_ORIG_URL appear as parameters in a query-based redirect, which often looks like duplication to users
CauseThe field name used to retain the URL of the protected resource a user was trying to access has changed from CT_ORIG_URI to CT_ORIG_URL from the 3.0.x Agent to the 4.6 Agent
ResolutionBoth variables are required so that older (version 3.0.x) and newer (version 4.x) RSA ClearTrust Agents can interoperate. If interoperability is required, you should also ensure that cleartrust.agent.retain_url.use_query_string=True is set since the Agents 3.0.x do not support cookie based redirection.
