IssueSuccessful logon is inconsistent in RSA ClearTrust Agent 3.5 for Oracle HTTP
Successful logon is inconsistent. User is always challenged for credentials as expected; on entering credentials, user may arbitrarily be redirected to logon page, or to protected resource. SSO is likewise only inconsistently successful.
CauseOracle 10g Applications Server uses Apache 1.3 in reverse proxy mode; versions of the agent prior to hot fix 3.5.0.11 may not function correctly and consistently due to poor handling of proxy and reverse proxy circumstances
ResolutionThis issue has been resolved in a hot fix 3.5.0.11 for RSA ClearTrust Agent 3.5 for Apache 1.3. Contact RSA Security Customer Support to obtain hot fix 3.5.0.11, or request the latest fix level (which is cumulative, and contains fixes from previous fix levels).

NOTE: On HP-UX 11.x, the latest fix at time of authoring was 3.5.0.30.
