IssueSuccessful Integrated Windows Authentication (IWA) to Outlook Web Access (OWA) still prompts for basic authentication in RSA ClearTrust Agent for Microsoft IIS
The Microsoft Outlook Web Access (OWA) exchange resource has been correctly configured under IIS 6 with RSA ClearTrust Agent 4.6 or 4.5 to use the Integrated Windows Authentication (IWA) method. However, after the user has successfully authenticated against IWA, they are still prompted for BASIC authentication.
The configuration in the webagent.conf file has the following resources defined for IWA authentication:

    cleartrust.agent.auth_resource_list= /exchange/*=IWA, /exchweb/*=IWA, /public/*=IWA
CauseAlthough the /exchange/* resource is protected, the user is trying to access the resource /exchange as shown below:

https://OWA.mydomain.com/exchange

The RSA ClearTrust Agent will see this a separate resource to /exchange/* as shown below:

https://OWA.mydomain.com/exchange/
https://owa.mydomain.com/exchange
ResolutionTo correct this issue, either direct the end user to the full URL with a '/' on the end, or add '/exchange' to the resource list as shown below:

    cleartrust.agent.auth_resource_list= /exchange/*=IWA,/exchange=IWA, /exchweb/*=IWA, /public/*=IWA
