Issue | SecurID: How to administer multiple groups by one Administrator |
Resolution | An ACE/Server administrator cannot have more than one group selected under the Administrative Role configuration; only one group can be selected for the Group scope. However, a Site can be created that has multiple groups associated with it, and the administrator role can then be selected to administer that Site with the associated groups. Summarized instructions: 1. Using Database Administration (Host Mode or Remote Mode), add a Site from the Site menu 2. Next, associate the Groups you want to be administered by one administrator 3. From the User menu, edit the user who is going to be your administrator for those groups. Then, change the Administrative Role so the Site scope selected is the new Site you have created with the associated groups. |
