IssueRSA ClearTrust Entitlement Manager timezone
Within the RSA ClearTrust Entitlement Manager, when selecting to create a new user, the default account start time did not display the current time as when first entering the "create a new user" screen, but was several hours into the future (or the past) and displayed, for instance, "July 29 6:48 AM - GMT + 05"
The display should show "Aug 3 2004 11am 25 PDT" with the timezone indicator showing the "code" for the corresponding time zone
CauseThough the system date and time display their values as expected, the UNIX TZ (timezone) environment variable was set incorrectly
ResolutionSet the UNIX TZ (timezone) environment variable correctly, set the date and time as appropriate, and ensure the system date and time and timezone are as expected. Restart the ClearTrust servers and authenticate into the ClearTrust Entitlement Manager. Then, launch the "add a new user" screen and the default account start time should be the current date and time as when first entering the "add a new user" screen.

NOTE: Using a shell of /bin/bash, you can set the TZ variable by: export TZ=Canada/Pacific for the PST or PDT timezone

NOTE: If on a Windows platform, ensure the timezone is correctly set for the computer system by right clicking the system clock in the lower right hand corner of the taskbar entry and selecting the appropriate timezone value. Then adjust the date and time setting as appropriate and save these new settings.
