IssueSAP J2EE 6.40 server support with RSA ClearTrust
There is no RSA ClearTrust Agent available for the SAP J2EE 6.40 server when utilized within the integration of SAP portal servers with RSA ClearTrust as specified within the implementation guide located at http://rsasecurity.agora.com/rsasecured/results.asp?product_program=110&page=3
ResolutionThe integration is header-based, and relies on an RSA ClearTrust web server Agent. The solution summary from the implementation guide includes the following:

"To achieve Single-Sign-On with the SAP Enterprise Portal Server 6.0 SP9 (part of SAP NetWeaver ?04), the RSA ClearTrust Web Agent 4.6 for Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) is installed on the SAP Portal Server. The RSA ClearTrust Agent is then configured to protect all portal-related pages. SAP Enterprise Portal establishes the identity of the user by parsing the HTTP Headers and using the ?ct-remote-user? variable to serve personalized content. SAP EP6 can also support User Management by sharing an LDAP Directory Server that is supported by both SAP Portal and RSA ClearTrust."

Set up the SAP Portal Server and integrate it with a supported web server engine as a proxy. Then use the corresponding web server's agent to protect the portal server resources, and configure it to pick up the "ct-remote-user" variable for utilization within the header-based SSO solution.
